Very comprehensive architectural book, which "conveys the fullest instructions for altering, methodizing, and arranging, all manner of builder's charges." Financial estimates are included for areas of carpenter's and joiners work, roofing, bricklaying, stone cutting, plumbing, etc. Also included are an abstract of the 1774 Building Act and extracts from the London Paving Act of 1817.
