(Yellowstone National Park) PERSONAL RPPC'S OF YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. Collection of twenty-two vernacular real photo postcards of Yellowstone National Park. 1911. Each card is annotated and dated.

A trip through Yellowstone National Park documenting the park in August 1911 through RPPC's souvenir photographs. Beginning on August 6th with a photograph captioned "Official Entrance Arc, Dedicated by Roosevelt 1903. Gardiner, Wyoming." The tour than progresses through the park for two weeks, visiting Old Faithful and other geysers, Eagles Nest, the Upper Geyser Basin, Keppler's Cascades, the Upper Falls, Yellowstone Lake and more. Each photograph is captioned and dated, though the post cards have not been used. The images are generally clear with good contrast. In my 35 years of handling Yellowstone materials, I have never owned a collection of an individuals trip through the park....definitely a very scarce offering.
