Webb was the widow of Lou Webb. Alfred Grigg and his wife lived in Johnson County near Buffalo and west of Kaycee. Their home served as the post office and was a regular mail stop for local outlaws including the Hole in the Wall gang. Mrs. Grigg fired at two outlaws (one of which was Harvey “Kid Curry” Logan) when Deputy Sheriff Billy Dean was trying to capture the Hole in the Wall Gang in early April 1897. On April 13, 1897 the gang did kill Dean. Ura O. Kirtley (1877-1964) arrived in Johnson County in 1892. His mother started the Kirtley, Wyoming Post Office and he was married to Stella Webb.
