Written on the front free endpaper is the name Sally Peter, Heidelberg Township, Leight County, Penn. Feb. 4th, 1858. This is most likely the Sally who was the daughter of Salome Schneck and Jonas Peter. She was born on June 20, 1847 and died on March 12, 1914.
